The CATIA V5 to ProductView Adapter is a direct data converter between CATIA V5 to ProductView, PTC’s visual collaboration product. The adapter rapidly and accurately publishes 3D part geometry, assemblies and drawings, together with attribute information to the compact formats used by ProductView.
Designed to be compatible with other PTC ProductView adapters, the adapter can be integrated into Windchill, DIVISION Graphics Server or other PDM environments.
It can be invoked in either an interactive or batch mode. The command line interface allows the conversion process to be integrated into any process oriented operation e.g. create a ProductView representation of the data while saving the data to a Data Vault.
The adapter directly accesses CATIA V5 files via Dassault Systemes CATIA V5 CAA Development Environment.
