Theorem Presents Latest Translation Developments at Autumn Events
A series of new product developments and the latest release of its flagship CADverter data translation product will be the focus of Theorem Solutions’ presentations at five important user events during the last four months of the year.
Theorem’s first announcement takes place at the PLM Europe show in Stuttgart in Mid-September, where the company will be highlighting its newly-developed bi-directional CAD to JT and JT to CAD translation capabilities.
The company’s latest JT translators reflect the growing importance of JT. The format, which was originally intended as a method of providing lightweight geometry for visualisation applications, is now accepted as a standard by the Open JT community. In addition, it is increasingly used for communicating design intent between different design systems, as well as between OEMs and their supply chain partners.
“The three European and two United States events to be held during the remainder of the year are ideal showcases for our advanced CAD and PLM system data exchange technologies,” commented Theorem’s General Manager, Keith Jeacock. “They will be hosted by UGS, IBM/Dassault, PTC and COE. As a result, we shall be able to gather valuable feedback from users throughout different CAD communities on the key issues they face world-wide. This is vital to our plans – enabling us to keep pace with users’ requirements and to provide them with new levels of added-value in our future products.”
