The introduction of a new subscription scheme offers savings of up to 20% on the cost of converting CAD geometry, assembly structures and attributes using Theorem Solutions’ on-line data translation service, www.CADverter.com

The new scheme, which will run in parallel to Theorem’s existing ‘pay as you go’ service, is based on a single annual payment. By avoiding the need to raise requisitions, orders or financial justifications, as well as authorise individual payments on a job by job basis, users of the service can significantly streamline their product development operations. In parallel, substantial time and costs savings will be achieved as engineers focus their attention on design issues, rather than on administrative or commercial tasks.

Theorem’s www.CADverter.com service allows users to seamlessly transfer product design data between all major CAD systems, including UGS, CATIA V5, CATIA V4, Pro/E, I-DEAS, CADDS and others. It will also receive and output data in a wide variety of other industry-standard formats, such as Parasolid, STL and STEP.
